Tanning Range
How does it work?

DHA (dihydroxyacetone): The active ingredient in most self-tanners.

DHA reacts with amino acids in the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin.

This reaction is a form of non-enzymatic browning called the Maillard reaction.

The result is the formation of brown pigments called melanoidins, which give the skin a tanned appearance.

Unlike sun tanning, this process does not require sunlight or UV exposure.
-
The tan fades as the dead skin cells naturally shed over time.
How to get the most out of your tan

Exfoliate & Moisturise beforehand

Use a tanning mitt

Apply in sections & Blend carefully

Look for hydrating ingredients: Choose formulas with aloe vera, or sodium hyaluronate to keep skin moisturized and prevent dryness.

Choose natural ingredients: Opt for self-tanners with natural actives like sugar-derived DHA for a gentler, more skin-friendly experience.

Non-drying formulas: Look for tanners free of alcohol and rich in nourishing oils or butters like jojoba oil or coconut oil to keep skin soft.

Let it dry completely: Allow the self-tanner to fully dry before getting dressed to prevent transfer.

Tanning FAQ's
How long does this take to develop?
Our tan can be washed off the skin a minimum of 2 hours after application; 24-hour full development time.
Most tanning products break me out, will this?'
Our tanning range is made without the use of mineral oils, a common cause of breakouts in skincare products.
How dark is the shade going to be?
Designed to give you a natural-looking this will vary from person to person. Results will depend on your natural skin colour and undertones. Please note this is not a performance tan.
Is this suitable for irritated and /or sensitive skin types?
We developed this specifically for sensitive skin types who avoid regular tanning products due to their chemical loads and high chances of reactions.
