What Makes Us Moo?
MooGoo’s Ethos has been the same since we started back in 2005;
“To make effective products using healthy ingredients, that we are comfortable using on ourselves and our loved ones.”
This all came to be when our founder noticed that his mother was using a white, pasty cream intended for use on cow udders to help with her skin condition (Psoriasis).
Although it seemed to help, the cream was thick and hard to apply. And so, our founder took on the task of reformulating it to make a nicer version for his mum.
The term “udder cream” was a bit crass for an old-fashioned lady so they referred to it as “MooGoo” (goo for the cows) and the name stuck.
Since then, we have grown in products and popularity for supporting people with skin conditions and for people also looking for healthier product alternatives; We utilise natural over synthetic ingredients, quality and family-first products that are Proudly Australian-made.
What do we avoid?
At MooGoo we pride ourself on avoiding all the nasties, free from all the things you cannot pronounce and last of least want to rub all over your skin.
SLS/SLES - Free from synthetic detergents that can dry and irritate skin.
SILICONES - Silicones are best known for their occlusive properties (barrier-like coating) which can form on the skin and hair and upset our waterways.
PARABENS - Parabens can irritate sensitive skin and cause allergic reactions in broken skin conditions.
PHENOXYETHANOL- Phenoxyethanol can irritate sensitive skin due to its potential to cause allergic reactions and skin sensitisation.
HARSH PRESERVATIVES
FRAGRANCES CONTAINING PHTHALATES - Fragrances containing phthalates can exacerbate allergies and eczema in sensitive individuals, as these chemicals have been linked to skin irritation and allergic reactions, potentially worsening skin conditions. All our fragrances are below the EU threshold.

Developed with a little more hydration action, it's perfect for winter skin; Dry, Tight, and flaky; for use on the body and face – It is Just perfect for dry knees, elbows and hands.
It can be used on all skin types, even sensitive and damaged skin as its ingredients work to moisturise, nourish and protect.

Soothing MSM moisturiser
Available in 120g, 200g, 500g Sizes.
The Soothing MSM moisturiser is a calming moisturiser for sensitive or irritated skin, it is great for customers suffering from fussy skin and skin conditions.
Non-comedogenic for use on the face and body for all ages, it is even perfect for infants, babies, and children with delicate skin.
Due to its active constituents, this moisturiser works as a fantastic anti-inflammatory cream, reducing redness, irritation and helping soothe various kinds of skin disturbances, all while being perfect for inflamed skin types.
The formula is hypoallergenic and clinically proven! On top of that, it is great to help soothe sunburnt skin and other external irritations.
- 10% MSM a Methyl Sulphur that works as a natural skin-soothing compound working to reduce inflammation and redness. The topical application of MSM helps to reduce skin inflammation. Importantly, our product is free from arnica, making it safe for use during breastfeeding and pregnancy.
