Irritation-free – We always choose gentle surfactants and ingredients across the brand ensuring our best ability to reduce reactions.
No harm vegan - We don’t test on animals or use anything derived from animals or animal by-products, further we do not export or sell to any countries that require this type of testing.
Plant-derived ingredients - We will always choose a plant-derived derivative when formulating before the alternative.
Nontoxic & clean - All of our products are as natural as possible. Mostly straight from plants, extracted from plant derivatives, minerals from our earth or natural organic or chemical compounds or enzymes.
We’re Australian Made & Owned - Family run and based on the sunny Gold Coast!
People and planet - we care for our planet just like we care for our skin, using recyclable, low-carbon packaging.
Anti - What we avoid
Upon our clean skincare philosophy and what we are pro about, here is what we avoid:

Sustainability
A BIG little word we take seriously, we have implemented changes to our products and product packaging ensuring our best foot forward for our planet. Some of our changes include:
- Tubes & Bottles - All of our plastic tubes are made from sugarcane plastic, While Our bottles are fully recyclable.
- Lids & Pumps - We’ve reduced the amount of plastic in our lids by switching a portion of the lid to bamboo. The plastic inside the bamboo lid is sugarcane plastic.
- Cardboard tubes and boxes - You may notice some of our products are in fully cardboard packaging, making it 100% recyclable and compostable
- Labels - We chose stone paper labels.

Skin sensitivity is very common. That's why all of our formulations are designed with skin sensitivities in mind. To keep our products as gentle as possible.
Nowadays, customers associate sensitive skin with any skin feel not just associated with a condition. feelings such as Dehydration, redness, itchy skin, reactive skin, skin discomfort, tight skin, and heating sensation.
We have done our best to suit all skin types from people with no skin issues to reactive skin & have done this in many ways, even by select choosing which essential oils we use!

Here at A bit Hippy, we do things a little differently, you may know our big sibling brand MooGoo, well we like to mix it up and keep things fresh and funky.
Skin issues – We wanted people with any skin issues to still feel comfortable using the brand so we keep this in mind when formulating, A bit hippy suits the demographic who wants to branch out further into a skincare world that still supports them but is a bit more fun than your usual therapy based range.
The vibe and feel – A bit hippy has a whole different vibe, from the colour, to the aesthetics, it looks amazing in the bathroom and around the home, the feel of the bottles and the whole energy of the range is something enticing.
Price point – we are that luxury feel for cheaper, from the feel of the bottles to the product quality and the range speaks for itself when our shampoo is $20 for a 500ml, where can you get that nowadays?
Healthy alternative - Ingredient-conscious people with and without skin issues.
Our ingredients – We really hero our ingredients with A bit Hippy, from our initial choosing phase in formulation to how excited we get about our actives, as it’s a smaller range to MooGoo we get to have some serious fun with some of our ingredient choices and a lot of these aren’t seen in the MooGoo range, from licorice root to zinc PCA and more it’s a whole new space for us to innovate and go wild
Scent and Sensory – Compared to our signature scent of MooGoo we have a whole different sensory profile, where moogoo is very creamy and think vanilla and oat, we go a bit different, enriched with ylang ylang, peppermint, lavender, really bright and vibrant scents with a bubbly feel.
Audience and demographic – A bit hippy really its made for everyone and anyone, but if we were to place our demographic it would be from the 20-30’s, so a completely different area and more select than the Goo
